The "business to business" meetings among the operators of the logistic sector in the Mediterranean will close tomorrow in Beirut. The meetings had started in Barcelona last June - housed in the International Fair of Logistics – and continued in Marseille, Cagliari and Porto Torres, last week.
The initiative is organized in the framework of the Optimed Project - funded by the European cross-border cooperation ENPI CBC Med Programme – and will involve about 20 companies operating in the maritime transport sector in Lebanon, Italy and Spain.
The final purpose of the meeting will be to facilitate strategic and commercial agreements among EU and MPC transport and logistics operators in the framework of the new network. The two-days section will be organized in two main phases:
- presentation of the opportunities coming from the new optimised maritime trade network and from the informative platform;
- individual meetings among economic identified operators.
